Matt Rogers

Matt Rogers is a gay American comedian, writer, actor, and podcaster from Long Island, New York, best known for co-hosting the pop culture podcast Las Culturistas (2016) with Bowen Yang — a show beloved in queer communities for its unapologetically gay perspective on film, music, and celebrity, which won the iHeartRadio Podcast of the Year Award in 2023. He voiced the character Twink and served as a writer on the animated queer spy comedy Q-Force (2021). He starred in the comedy series I Love That for You (2022), playing a gay senior associate with exacting opinions on fashion and protocol, and appeared as a scene-stealing supporting player in the gay romantic comedy Fire Island (2022). His musical comedy special Matt Rogers: Have You Heard of Christmas? (2022), released on Showtime, was named one of the best comedy specials of the year by both the New York Times and Variety. Rogers came out as gay while studying dramatic writing at New York University and has been a vocal and enthusiastic presence in queer comedy throughout his career.
