
John Norris is a gay American film producer and visual effects producer, and the longtime partner of director Tate Taylor. His credits include producing work on The Help (2011) and The Girl on the Train (2016), both directed by Taylor, as well as visual effects producing for The Aaron Sims Company on studio blockbusters including Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), 300: Rise of an Empire (2014), Jupiter Ascending (2015), I, Frankenstein (2014), and R.I.P.D. (2013). Norris and Taylor share a home together on Wyolah Plantation, a historic antebellum property in Church Hill, Mississippi, that Taylor purchased and restored, and the two have maintained a relatively private relationship out of the entertainment press.
