Cherry Jones

Cherry Jones is a two-time Tony Award-winning actress considered one of the great stage actors of her generation, known for The Heiress (1995 Tony, Best Actress) and Doubt (2005 Tony, Best Actress). She is also known for playing President Allison Taylor on 24 (Fox, 2009–2010, Primetime Emmy Award), and for roles in The Eyes of Tammy Faye (2021), Succession, and many films and television series. She has been openly lesbian throughout her adult life, living and working out for decades in the theater community. She was in a long-term relationship with actress Sarah Paulson from 2004 to 2009 and has spoken movingly about the joy and freedom of living an open life.
