Tom Hulce is an American actor known for his Academy Award-nominated performance as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Amadeus (1984) and for Pinto in Animal House (1978). He is gay and has largely transitioned from acting to producing, with significant success on Broadway β he co-produced Spring Awakening (2006, Tony Award for Best Musical), Hair (2008), and other acclaimed productions. Hulce has been relatively private about his personal life but has been known within the industry to be gay for decades.
