Thomas Dekker

Thomas Dekker is an American actor, born December 28, 1987, known for playing Zach, Claire Bennet's best friend, on Heroes (2006), John Connor on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008), Adam Conant on The Secret Circle (2011), and Jesse on A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). He also played Smith in Gregg Araki's Kaboom (2010), a film with a bisexual college-student protagonist that won the first-ever Queer Palm at Cannes. He came out as gay in a 2012 interview, speaking about his relationship with his then-partner and his experience navigating the genre film world as a gay man. Dekker has also worked as a musician, composing classical music from childhood and self-releasing three electronica albums, and continues to act in film and television.
