Scott Thompson

Scott Thompson is a Canadian comedian and actor who was one of the five members of The Kids in the Hall (CBC/HBO, 1988–1994), the groundbreaking sketch comedy troupe in which he regularly played openly gay characters — most iconically Buddy Cole, a flamboyantly gay raconteur — making him one of the first openly gay performers to be a regular cast member of a mainstream comedy series. He has been out for his entire career and has spoken about the queer sensibility that infused The Kids in the Hall's comedy. He has also appeared in Larry Sanders Show, Hannibal, and other television dramas.
