Reid Ewing

Reid Ewing is an American actor known for playing Dylan Marshall — Haley Dunphy's lovable, dim-witted boyfriend and eventual husband — on Modern Family (ABC, 2009–2020). He came out as gay in 2016 in a Hollywood Reporter interview, also speaking candidly about his experience with body dysmorphia and addiction to plastic surgery, a disclosure that brought significant attention to the mental health dimensions of body image in the entertainment industry. Ewing has been an open presence in LGBTQ+ spaces since his coming out.
