Ray Santiago is an openly gay Puerto Rican-American actor, born in the Bronx, who began acting as a teenager in Girlfight (2000) and Pinero (2001) before graduating from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. He went on to appear in Meet the Fockers (2004) and Accepted (2006), and had television roles on My Name Is Earl (2005) and Dexter (2006) before a recurring part as Javier on Raising Hope (2010). He is best known for playing Pablo Simon Bolivar on Ash vs Evil Dead (2015). Santiago has spoken about the lack of representation for gay Latino men in mainstream American television and film and has been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ and Latinx visibility in the entertainment industry.
