Niecy Nash

Niecy Nash is a queer actress, comedian, and producer who made headlines in August 2020 when she announced her surprise marriage to singer and musician Jessica Betts -- her third marriage and first to a woman. The announcement, made simply via Instagram with a wedding photograph, was greeted with enormous celebration. Nash has spoken thoughtfully about her sexuality in subsequent interviews, noting that she does not use a specific label and believes love transcends categories: "I know this: What God has for me, is for me."
