Nhut Le

Nhut Le is a Vietnamese American actor, comedian, writer, and producer, born in Ho Chi Minh City and raised in the US from age six, best known for his breakout role as Judomaster in HBO Max's Peacemaker (2022). An improv performer trained with groups including the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Groundlings, he built his early career through sketch comedy, appearing in Kroll Show (2013) and creating and starring in Stardumb and Gey Gardens, a parody of the 1975 documentary Grey Gardens. Le is openly gay and has discussed his sexuality in interviews, including with Out, noting that he brings aspects of his own identity and experience into his work and approach to representation. Outside acting, he is also a trained Wushu martial artist and a ceramics artist. As his profile continues to grow within superhero media and genre storytelling, Le stands as an increasingly visible gay Asian American performer whose presence contributes to a broader and more nuanced landscape of queer representation in contemporary pop culture.
