Megan Mullally is an American actress, comedian, and singer best known for playing the magnificently imperious, perpetually inebriated Karen Walker on Will & Grace (1998), earning two Primetime Emmy Awards and becoming one of the most celebrated straight-identifying performers playing a gay man's best friend in television history. In a 1999 interview with The Advocate, Mullally said, "I consider myself bisexual, and my philosophy is, everyone innately is," describing attraction to women that predated her marriage; she has since described that view in more philosophical terms rather than as a fixed personal label. She has also appeared in Parks and Recreation, Party Down, and Childrens Hospital, and performs music with the bands Supreme Music Program and Nancy and Beth, the latter formed with Stephanie Hunt. Mullally met actor Nick Offerman in 2000 while both were performing in the play The Berlin Circle, and the two married in 2003.
