Matt Dallas

Matt Dallas is an American actor known for Kyle XY (2006), in which he played the title character, an amnesiac teenager with superhuman abilities. He came out as gay in January 2013 via a casual Twitter post announcing his engagement to musician Blue Hamilton, whom he had been quietly dating since 2009 -- a rare double disclosure that was widely celebrated. The couple married over the July 4th weekend in 2015 and later adopted two children, documenting their family life on a joint YouTube channel and through their lifestyle brand, Twenty Five North. After Kyle XY, Dallas took roles in Eastwick (2009) and Baby Daddy (2012), and later starred in the queer indie film Alaska Is a Drag (2017). Dallas has spoken about being a gay man who played an essentially asexual character and about the experience of coming out publicly after years of speculation.
