Matt Bomer

Matt Bomer is an actor known for White Collar (USA Network, 2009–2014), Magic Mike (2012), and The Normal Heart (HBO, 2014). He came out as gay in February 2012 while accepting a humanitarian award, publicly thanking his partner Simon Halls and their three children — a low-key but significant moment after years of tabloid speculation. He received a Golden Globe nomination for The Normal Heart, in which he played a gay man with AIDS and lost a devastating amount of weight for the role. Bomer has since appeared in American Horror Story, Bros (2022), and Fellow Travelers (2023), a miniseries about two gay men living through decades of anti-LGBTQ+ government persecution.
