Matt Bomer

Matt Bomer is an actor known for White Collar (2009), Magic Mike (2012), and The Normal Heart (2014). He and publicist Simon Halls married privately in 2011, a fact that became public in 2014; in February 2012, Bomer had already publicly identified as gay while accepting the Steve Chase Humanitarian Award, thanking his family by name: "Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry." He received a Golden Globe nomination for The Normal Heart, in which he played a gay man with AIDS and lost a devastating amount of weight for the role. Bomer has since appeared in American Horror Story (2011), Bros (2022), and Fellow Travelers (2023), a miniseries about two gay men living through decades of anti-LGBTQ+ government persecution.
