Mara Wilson is an American actress known as a child for Miracle on 34th Street (1994), Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), and Matilda (1996). She came out as queer in a 2016 tweet during the Pulse nightclub shooting, expressing solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community from the position of being a member of it. Wilson has been openly queer since and has spoken about the experience of growing up as a queer child actor in the 1990s without any language for her identity.
