Luke Macfarlane

Luke Macfarlane is a Canadian actor known for Brothers & Sisters (ABC, 2007–2011), in which he played Scotty Wandell — the partner and later husband of Matthew Rhys's Kevin Walker in one of the first gay marriages on a US network drama — and for numerous Hallmark holiday films including the Christmas Cowboys franchise with Chad Michael Murray. He came out as gay in 2008, becoming one of the first Canadian actors in a major US network drama to come out while on the show. He has spoken about the importance of Hallmark's LGBTQ+-inclusive films and about being an openly gay leading man in romantic films.
