Lily Tomlin

Lily Tomlin is a pioneering comedian and actress whose career spans Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, the film Nashville (1975), 9 to 5 (1980), and the Netflix series Grace and Frankie (2015–2022). She was in a relationship with writer and creative partner Jane Wagner for over four decades before they married in January 2014. Though Tomlin and Wagner were well known to be a couple within the industry, Tomlin discussed her sexuality publicly and openly only gradually beginning around 2000. She won the Kennedy Center Honors in 2014, which included a tribute to their lifelong partnership. Tomlin has been a beloved figure in LGBTQ+ communities since her earliest career.
