Kate McKinnon

Kate McKinnon is an American comedian and actress who was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2012 to 2022, becoming one of the show's most celebrated performers with impersonations of Hillary Clinton, Justin Bieber, Jeff Sessions, and many others, earning two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She has been openly lesbian throughout her public career, and her SNL tenure coincided with a significant increase in visible lesbian representation on mainstream comedy television. She starred in Ghostbusters (2016) and has appeared in numerous films and television series. She has been in a long-term relationship with actress and photographer Jackie Abbott since 2016, the two having made their public debut together at the 2017 Emmys.
