Judy Gold is an openly lesbian American comedian, actress, and podcaster known for her stand-up comedy and for recurring roles on Mad About You and Divorce. She was one of the first comedians to win the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song (for The Rosie O'Donnell Show, on which she was a writer). Her comedy frequently centers on her identity as a lesbian mother and Jewish woman, and she has been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights throughout her career. She is also known for the podcast Kill Me Now and for her book Yes I Can Say That: When They Come for the Comedians, We Are All in Trouble (2020).
