Jordan Gavaris

Jordan Gavaris is a Canadian actor best known for playing Felix Dawkins -- the sardonic, fiercely loyal gay clone -- on Orphan Black (2013). He came out publicly as gay in a June 2017 Vulture interview and has been in a relationship with actor and screenwriter Devon Graye since 2013. He has spoken about Felix as one of the most fully realized gay male characters in recent science fiction television: complex, funny, courageous, and defined by far more than his sexuality. Gavaris went on to appear in Gus Van Sant's Sea of Trees (2016) and the arthouse drama Maya Dardel (2017), and starred opposite Julia Stiles in The Lake (2022). He has been involved in LGBTQ+ advocacy and has spoken at events about representation, mental health, and the importance of queer characters in genre fiction.
