Emma Corrin is a nonbinary British actor who came out publicly in 2021, shortly after winning a Golden Globe for their portrayal of Princess Diana in Season 4 of "The Crown" (2020). They have spoken extensively about their gender journey, describing their identity as occupying a space "in between" that they were still exploring: "I exist somewhere in between and I'm still not sure where that is yet." Corrin uses they/them pronouns and has become one of the most prominent nonbinary figures in international entertainment, speaking candidly about the challenges of navigating a binary industry while living authentically. On screen they brought intense vulnerability to Diana β a woman whose own inner life was routinely suppressed and misunderstood β and went on to star in "My Policeman" (2022) opposite Harry Styles and David Dawson, and in the thriller "Deadpool & Wolverine" (2024) as the villain Cassandra Nova. In 2024 they starred in the FX limited series "A Murder at the End of the World." Corrin has spoken about their queerness and nonbinary identity as inseparable from how they approach character and performance.
