Dan Bucatinsky

Dan Bucatinsky is an Emmy Award-winning actor, writer, and producer known for playing James Novak — the husband of Jeff Perry's Cyrus Beene — on Scandal (ABC, 2012–2018), a gay political marriage at the center of one of the most popular prime-time dramas of the decade. He won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for the role in 2013. Bucatinsky co-founded the production company Is or Isn't Entertainment with his partner Don Roos, and they have two children together. He has been an outspoken advocate for equal adoption rights and marriage equality throughout his career.
