Clementine Ford is an American actress best known for playing Molly Kroll on The L Word (2004), a love interest of Shane McCutcheon in the show's fifth and sixth seasons β with Molly's on-screen mother played by Ford's real-life mother, actress Cybill Shepherd. She is openly lesbian, and her tenure on television's defining lesbian drama made her part of one of the era's most visible queer ensembles. Her other work includes a regular role as Mackenzie Browning on the long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless (1973) and appearances in films and television series across two decades. Ford has been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has spoken about the importance of authentic queer representation in television drama.
