Cheyenne Jackson is an American actor and singer known for his extensive stage work β originating roles in All Shook Up (2005) and Xanadu (2007) on Broadway β and for his television roles in 30 Rock, American Horror Story (multiple seasons), and Glee. He has been openly gay throughout his career and was one of the first high-profile actors to speak candidly about being a gay man who plays both straight and gay roles on screen. He married American Idol contestant Monte Lapka in 2011, they divorced, and he later married actor Jason Landau in 2014. Jackson has been a vocal advocate for marriage equality and LGBTQ+ adoption rights.
