Charlie David

Charlie David is a Canadian actor, director, producer, and television host best known as the male lead of the gay supernatural drama Dante's Cove (2005) and for queer-themed films including Mulligans (2008), which he also wrote, and Judas Kiss (2011). Openly gay throughout his career, he founded the production company Border2Border Entertainment, which creates film, television, and digital content aimed at queer audiences, including the documentary Beyond Gay: The Politics of Pride (2009); the company's work has earned a Golden Sheaf Award, multiple Telly Awards, and numerous Canadian Screen Award nominations. Honored on Out magazine's Out100 list in 2005 for his contributions to gay culture, David has remained a prominent builder of queer media in North America, producing and directing stories by and for LGBTQ+ people.
