Charlie Carver

Charlie Carver is an American actor known for Teen Wolf (MTV, 2011–2017) and Desperate Housewives (ABC, 2009–2012). In January 2016, he became one of the first actors from a current mainstream US teen drama to come out as gay, doing so in a series of Instagram posts in which he described the painful years of hiding his identity and the relief and liberation of finally living openly. He and his twin brother Max Carver both act; Max came out as bisexual shortly after Charlie came out as gay, in a rare and celebrated double coming-out. Charlie has since spoken at LGBTQ+ events about the importance of visibility for young queer fans of genre television.
