Brian J. Smith

Brian J. Smith is an American actor best known for playing Will Gorski on Sense8 (2015), a series celebrated for its queer storytelling and global LGBTQ+ ensemble, created by the Wachowskis. He came out as gay in November 2019 in an Attitude magazine cover story, describing years of hiding his identity while growing up in conservative Texas and the profound relief he felt after joining the openly queer Sense8 cast. A graduate of the Juilliard School, Smith also received Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations for his featured role in The Glass Menagerie on Broadway (2013).
