Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a New Zealand-Canadian actress who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at age eleven for The Piano (1993), making her the second-youngest Oscar winner in history. She is also known for the X-Men franchise (2000) as Rogue and True Blood (2008). In April 2010 she came out as bisexual in a public service announcement for the Give a Damn campaign, organized by The True Colors Fund, saying simply: "I'm Anna Paquin. I'm bisexual, and I give a damn." Her matter-of-fact coming out while publicly engaged to True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer sparked wide public conversation about bisexual visibility, bisexual erasure, and what it means to be out in a relationship that reads as straight.
