Amanda Donohoe

Amanda Donohoe is a British actress known for The Lair of the White Worm (1988), Castaway (1986), and her Golden Globe Award-winning role as the openly bisexual attorney C.J. Lamb on L.A. Law (1986) — a character whose lesbian kiss with Michele Greene in 1991 was one of the first same-sex kisses on American prime-time network television, sparking controversy and celebration and drawing widespread media attention at a time when queer visibility in mainstream American television was nearly non-existent. Donohoe has been openly bisexual throughout her career, speaking freely about her relationships with both men and women, and is recognized as one of the earliest openly bisexual actresses in mainstream American television.
